This is the first speck of blue I have seen in the sky for what seems like an eternity, so I grabbed my camera and grabbed a quick shot. I know it's not one of those "WOW" photos by any means, but I just had to document that all elusive blue sky, it was about all my body would allow me to stay on my feet for, so I am thrilled that I got it!
The 365 Journey
Inspiration is what has motivated me to take on such a creative commitment such as this in 2011! I followed one of the most amazing 365 photo bloggers last year and I was blown away at the growth, not only in her technique but her creativity as well. Through her blog, I was allowed to follow her through some of the most wonderful, stressful and emotional times that the year brought. What a fabulous way to document a "year in the life" of any individual! I am so excited to take this journey, to see what life may bring, and to enjoy the wild ride the next 365 days will bring. I hope you will enjoy it too!

It really is a great photo! We have had nothing BUT blue skies here. Love your snow.
I think with a slight boost in processing this could definitely be a "Wow"!! You live in such a gorgeous area.
I think it's a great picture! From the huge, dark mountains in the top down to the fence and the snow. Love it!
I like this. The composition is great and it is very moody but with a glimmer of sunshine in the distance! It tells a story =)
This may be because I'm a novice, but I think this shot is fantastic just the way it is. It's amazing all of the colors and dimension you captured in this single picture. It looks like a painting!
This photo makes me very jealous of where you live. I like that you left the fences in the shot.
I love this, way to go for seeing the sun and getting to capture it!
Gorgeous! Love your blog!
love it!
